Each time you join a server, a unique key is assigned to your computer which identifies you. This key is pretty much impossible to replicate since it is a randomly chosen string of digits. This system was put into place to prevent trolls/griefers from impersonating others, and to allow permissions to be assigned to players automatically. Because your key would be impossible to replicate, you will have to be re-assigned perms on each computer you use.
