]]>Fri, 01 Jul 2016 05:23:52 GMTImagine a center island map built by Newton or whatever, then put 4-5 smaller islands in a wagon wheel type layout that are mostly flat. The idea is you and another person have to create the best island out of all of the islands! Only 2 people per island. Now i'm sure Roy's post about credentials will suffice for these credentials but I will put my own for the sake of convenience.Rules!1. You can only build on your island, you can expand a little as long as it does not interfere with any other islands. 2. You cannot hinder any other island! No messing with their builds, but you are allowed to look at them for inspiration if you need it. 3. You do NOT have to be realistic! You can be crazy AS LONG AS it makes sense! 4. NO Roller-coaster can have an Extreme or Ultra Extreme intensity or nausea rating! (10 is the max that will be acceptable) Every coaster must be able to be ridden without the use of cheats. That's all I can think of when it comes to rules.  Each Category has a max score of 10 points! so 10/10 is your highest possible score per category. Categories are not limited to just roller-coasters, The layout and more will be considered. Max possible total score is 501.  Layout of paths: I understand that guests are not the brightest, but try to be somewhat neat with your path layout. I recommend that you don't use double wide paths but they are allowed. 2. Ride Variety: Don't build just roller-coasters! Guests love other rides too, so try to have a good variety of rides! 3. Roller Coasters: Be creative with your coasters! You don't have to be realistic, as long as they don't have an Extreme or Ultra Extreme Intensity! ]]>Tue, 02 Aug 2016 18:12:14 GMTI know many of you have been complaining that the guest AI in OpenRCT2 currently is bad, mostly for what has been said about it. Well complain no more! The next few updates they're going to be improving the guest AI so that it works similar to the original game it's self. A friend of mine on Skype has told me this and given me a link to the github/pull/ page on OpenRCT2's file structure. https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/pull/4221 Have a read for yourself, and post your opinion on these updates. There are still a few minor bugs that are in the code, for example. The overall view window for rides causes frame-rate slowdown.

]]>Mon, 08 Aug 2016 16:49:48 GMTI'm not actually sure if some have noticed but someone keeps modifying rides, changing them in their settings, and slight part differences, redesign of a certain part. I just want to make this clear to everyone. Under any circumstances, do NOT modify someone's ride without their permission unless the creator is alright with it!

]]>Mon, 15 Aug 2016 11:20:42 GMTWhenever I try to load a track I made and saved using OpenRCT2 into the original RCT2, I get a message saying "The ride must be closed first." Only a few of my tracks don't have this problem. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks.

Don't close registration. this person has been putting the blame on Skylander Katfish for some peculiar reason, and is also trolling WhiskeyStation and other servers.  Note to PM: IF you have this person's IP, edit this post and put it in somewhere.

Before we do however, we would like to give everyone a chance to give their feedback and also note any issues. Here is a general map overview: - Map #4 is a snow map. Many of us are living in very hot areas in the Northern Hemisphere, and are wishing for at least a day of snow. - Custom Content has been removed and will not be used in Map #4. It is currently very unstable in OpenRCT2, which is a cause for concern for us. It may return at a future date, but not for Map #4. A large amount of Vanilla Scenery is available however.- The Giga Coaster and the Hyper-Twister Trains have been removed, citing their over-use in the last map. However, a larger variety of Wooden Coasters (and cars), the Inverted Coaster, the Multi-Dimensional Coaster, and the Floorless and Stand-Up Trains for the Twister Coaster will be sure to please the Veteran Players. The inclusion of the Looping Coaster and the Mini Coaster should allow newer players to the server and RCT2 a chance to practice their skills before moving to the more complicated rides.- Related to the above, a higher amount of snow-themed rides have been included.- Water Rides are limited, only the Submarine Ride can be utilized. It's a snow map after all...- Terrain is at a higher height by default now. This allows additional usage of valleys and tunnels for our rides This map uses pure RCT2 content only, Wacky Worlds and Time Twister are not needed. Download Link

]]>Mon, 04 Jul 2016 05:34:47 GMTPlease when naming your rides, do NOT use signs as a means of naming your coaster, it might get confusing. and the original ride sign i believe hides the sign you used to name the coaster. If you're naming your rides, and you crash for whatever reason, get someone to name it for you if they're available or direct message them on here or other services they may be on with the coaster, what server it's on, style of coaster, and current name of the coaster if possible.   we are aware of the name property crash and we are trying our best to help others out with whatever problems the community may have with the game at its current version and build.
